Pop Up Community Concert-2026

This is a chance to come hang out with us for a short time and learn 1 song with our Artistic Director, your fellows, and members of SOLC, and then perform it for the community. Think of it as chance to trial run our group or to just, low commitment, sing with a choir for one day.

All this and even more to come!

Mission:

Singing Out Las Cruces (SOLC) is a mixed voice, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally/friends non-profit organization that performs choral works for the appreciation, inspiration, and education of our community. SOLC is an active member of GALA Choruses.

Vision:

Using the power of music to entertain, heal, inspire, SOLC gives voice to our community and strives for a society where all people are respected and appreciated.

Singing Out Las Cruces is special because of the community it fosters. I've been welcomed by everyone from day one and people have made such an effort to get to know me. The people at Singing Out are some of the kindest, sweetest, and most genuine people I've met.

Committment:

Singing Out Las Cruces is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space where everyone can make

and enjoy music together. We are committed to supporting and helping promote the growth and success of

ourselves and our fellow LGBTQIA+ organizations and organizations committed to social justice for all in the

Las Cruces and surrounding areas.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that Las Cruces is located on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Piro, Manso, and Tiwa peoples, who have lived in the Río Grande Valley for generations. We also recognize the enduring presence and contributions of the Mescalero Apache, Chiricahua Apache, and Pueblo peoples, as well as the Tigua (Ysleta del Sur Pueblo) and other indigenous communities who have called this region home. We honor their connection to this land, their history, their cultures, and traditions, and we commit to ongoing learning, relationship building, and support for Indigenous sovereignty and justice.
