2026 is our 15th Anniversary!

Our upcoming year is going to be bigger and queerer than ever! For our 15th year we will be focused on uplifting queer voices, collaborating with other organization in our community, giving back to the community that has allowed us to continue creating a safe space for everyone to make music, and celebrating Queer Joy!

Upcoming Concerts:

"We're Here, We're Queer, Get Used to it!" -January 2026

"Singing Out Las Cruces' Greatest Hits: 15th Anniversary Edition" -June 2026

Upcoming Events in the next year:

Pop Up Community Concert-August 2025

This is a chance to come hang out with us for a short time and learn 1 song with our Artistic Director, your fellows, and members of SOLC, and then perform it for the community. Think of it as chance to trial run our group or to just, low commitment, sing with a choir for one day.

Free Gender Affirming Vocal Workshop -Fall 2025

This will be a free vocal workshop led by our Artistic Director and experienced vocal coach with the assistance of members of our choir that identify as trans, non-binary, genderqueer,  and genderfluid. This interactive workshop is designed for transgender, nonbinary, genderfluid, and gender expansive individuals who want to explore and develop a voice that aligns with their identity. Whether you are just beginning your vocal journey or are looking to refine your sound or technique this workshop is for you. No previous vocal training necessary. Bring yourself, your courage, and share in a community that values every voice.

Trish Miller Portrait
“The first SOLC concert I went to 10 years ago opened my eyes and heart to see that gay and straight Las Crucens were not alone in our struggles, and that together we could build a loving, diverse community to create social change that honors our differences as well as our commonalities."

Trish Miller, 10 year Member

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that Las Cruces is located on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Piro, Manso, and Tiwa peoples, who have lived in the Río Grande Valley for generations. We also recognize the enduring presence and contributions of the Mescalero Apache, Chiricahua Apache, and Pueblo peoples, as well as the Tigua (Ysleta del Sur Pueblo) and other indigenous communities who have called this region home. We honor their connection to this land, their history, their cultures, and traditions, and we commit to ongoing learning, relationship building, and support for Indigenous sovereignty and justice.
